Well Howdy

now I'm gonna get a lil more serious with ya!

What you will find here is basically a page dedicated to the most important man of my life

DAD

Dad Always had a way of saying what was on his mind, and even if it was mean, ya knew he was telling ya for your own good! Dad was probably the best horseman in the country! I know I might be a lil prejudice But hey he was my Dad!

Everybody's Dad Buster

He's never met a stranger

He would call ya darlin son or hon

He's never been affraid of danger

and as for love he loved everyone

He used to drink quite a bit

But he has 13 yrs sobriety under his belt

No matter how hard hes been hit

He always played the cards he was dealt

You were doing good if you were on his team

With him there wasn't a problem misunderstood

He was a racing secretaries dream

He'd help ya out as much as he could

He's as honest as they come

if ya told him a lie he would cus ya and then some

He always managed to get through the hard times

And promise the best was to come

He had gon from top to bottom more than once

But no matter what he could always smile

Wel always knew he loved us tons

And to get what we wanted he'd walk 20 miles

When they made "Buster" the broke the mold

No man will ever be missed quite as much as Dad

He was charming goofy a gentleman and very bold

And I thank God for everyday For the time that we had!

I'm gonna miss you dad!

The Heavenly Range

As we watched horses the horses train

We'd talk about what they need

If to ice, poultice,Sweat or just pull their mane

We'd talk about the riders and the type of feed

There wasn't much we didn't discuss

When It came to the horses and the track

Working hard was always a must

And there was no looking back

So when I look down this lonely shedrow

I catch myself breaking into tears

And wondering why you had to go

Then I thank God for all those years

When we heard about the cancer

Mom was in ICU and you were on your way

Lots and lots of questions But noone had the answers

Why oh why did have to go this way?

They say with time it gets easy

But I miss you everday especially at the track

I miss our talks and our thoughts over mornin coffee

I miss standing at the rail saying "whos left to tack?"

But most of all I miss your Dreams

That 2yr.old at the sale or seeing Cashman Rope

That feeling of knowing we were the black cat team

Those thoughts make it difficult to cope

I wonder if your Proud

Or is there something I should change

But I know your sitting on that Cloud

Enjoying The best on GOD"S Heavenly Range I miss ya Dad!

Your thought of everyday

I miss your laugh and your knowledge

Your teaching of things the BUSTER way

Common sense I didn't get in college

You were always there for me

and I hope I was there for you

I hope I'm what ya wanted me to be

And I hope your proud of what I do

I always wonder what would Dad say

If he was with me right now

Would he say your doing ok?

Or would he tell me how?

But since your not here with me

I can only guess I've made you proud

And your looking down on Alana
